3. Installation Instructions
Professional installation is recommended. Ensure all power is disconnected before proceeding.
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that supplies power to the fixture location. Turn off the power completely.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the existing junction box is securely mounted and capable of supporting the fixture's weight (15 lbs).
- Install Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket (included in hardware pack) to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly secured.
- Adjust Hanging Height: Determine the desired hanging height for the chandelier. Adjust the chain length accordingly. The fixture comes with a 144-inch lead wire and a maximum hanging height of 152 inches.
- Wire Connections: Carefully connect the fixture's electrical wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box.
- Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting bracket.
- Mount Fixture: Carefully lift the chandelier and attach it to the mounting bracket, securing it with the canopy screws.
- Install Bulbs: Insert nine (9) B10 type bulbs with an E12 Candelabra base. Do not exceed 60 watts per bulb. (Bulbs are not included).
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
