Setup
Powering the Device
The SL-SV600J is powered by batteries (not included) or an AC adapter (not included). Insert the required batteries into the battery compartment located on the underside of the player, ensuring correct polarity. Alternatively, connect a compatible AC adapter to the DC IN jack and a power outlet.
Loading a CD
- Locate the OPEN/CLOSE switch or button on the CD compartment.
- Gently press or slide the switch to open the CD compartment lid.
- Place a CD (audio CD, CD-R, or CD-RW) onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it clicks into place.
Operating Instructions
Basic Playback
- Ensure the CD player is powered on and a CD is loaded.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE (►/∎) button to start playback. The track number and elapsed time will appear on the display.
- To pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE (►/∎) button again. Press it once more to resume.
- To stop playback, press the STOP (■) button.
Volume Control
Adjust the volume using the VOLUME (+/-) buttons located on the player or the wired remote control. Increase volume by pressing + and decrease by pressing -.
Skipping Tracks
- To skip to the next track, press the SKIP FORWARD (►►) button.
- To go back to the beginning of the current track, press the SKIP BACKWARD (◄◄) button once. Press it twice to go to the previous track.
Using the Wired Remote Control
The included wired remote control allows for convenient operation without directly accessing the player. It typically features PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and VOLUME controls. Connect the remote to the designated jack on the CD player.
