4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the screen or casing. Ensure the charging port is free of debris.

4.2. Charging and Battery Care

Charge the device regularly, especially after each round, to maintain optimal battery performance. Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently. Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.

4.3. Storage

When storing the device for extended periods, ensure it is partially charged (around 50%) and kept in a protective case to prevent physical damage.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Device Not Finding Satellites/Courses

If the device continuously displays "Searching for satellites" or fails to find courses:

  • Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky.
  • Try restarting the device.
  • Connect the device to your computer and re-sync it with the Bushnell Golf software. This can often resolve connectivity issues and update GPS data.

5.2. Short Battery Life

If the battery life seems shorter than expected:

  • Ensure the device is fully charged before each use.
  • Avoid using the backlight unnecessarily, as it consumes more power.
  • The battery's capacity may decrease over time with extensive use.

5.3. Display Issues

If the display is dim or unresponsive, ensure the device is charged. If issues persist, a factory reset (if available in the menu) or contacting customer support may be necessary.
