2. Getting Started: Setup

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the PWR button located on the top. To power off, press and hold the PWR button again for a few seconds until the device shuts down.

3.2. Course Recognition and Selection

Once powered on, the Neo Ghost will automatically begin searching for available golf courses. It typically recognizes the course you are playing. If multiple courses are nearby, you may need to select the correct one from a list using the UP and DOWN buttons and confirming with SELECT.

3.3. Displaying Distances

The device will automatically advance to the current hole. The main display shows distances to the front, center, and back of the green. These distances are continuously updated as you move around the course.

3.4. Shot Distance Measurement

To measure the distance of your shot, press the SHOT button at your starting point. Walk to where your ball landed, and the device will display the distance traveled. Press SHOT again to reset for the next measurement.

3.5. Hazard and Layup Distances

The Neo Ghost can display distances to various hazards and layup points. Use the MENU button to access options for viewing these distances. You can customize up to four hazard/layup distances per hole via the device settings or through the Bushnell Golf app/website.

3.6. Changing Units of Measure
