3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
The COAST POLYSTEEL 600 flashlight requires 4 AAA alkaline batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The flashlight features a Quick-Cycle™ Switch located on the tail cap for easy operation.
- To turn on/off: Press the tail cap switch completely until it clicks.
- To cycle through modes: With the flashlight on, lightly press the tail cap switch (without clicking) to cycle between High, Medium, and Low light modes. A full click will select the current mode.

4.2. Adjusting the Beam (Twist Focus)
The PURE BEAM optical system with TWIST FOCUS technology allows you to adjust the beam from a wide flood to a focused spot.
- To switch between Ultra View Flood Beam and BULLS-EYE Spot Beam, simply twist the head of the flashlight.
- Twist in one direction for a wide, even floodlight, and in the opposite direction for a concentrated spot beam.
