Setup Instructions
- Unfold the Gameboard: Place the galaxy-shaped gameboard in the center of your playing area.
- Choose Your Side: Each player selects a character token (2 Rebel, 2 Empire). Players align with either the Light Side (Rebel tokens) or the Dark Side (Empire tokens).
- Distribute Bases: Each player receives 22 bases of their chosen side (Rebel or Empire). These are used to claim planets.
- Prepare Force Cards: Separate the 18 Rebel Force cards and 18 Empire Force cards into two distinct piles. Shuffle each pile and place them face down on their designated spaces on the gameboard.
- Prepare Symbol Cards: Place the 4 Symbol Cards near the Force card piles.
- Distribute Money: Each player receives a starting amount of Star Wars Monopoly money as specified in the game guide. The remaining money forms the bank.
- Place Dice: Keep the two dice accessible to all players.

Gameplay Overview
The objective of the Monopoly Star Wars Game is to conquer planets and build bases to dominate the galaxy. The game is played by 2 to 4 players.
Starting the Game
- Players roll the dice to determine who goes first. The player with the highest roll begins.
- On your turn, roll both dice and move your character token clockwise around the galaxy-shaped gameboard.
Conquering Planets and Building Bases
- When you land on an unowned planet, you may purchase it from the bank.
- Once you own a planet, you can build bases on it. Building more bases increases the rent other players must pay when they land on your planet.
- Planets are grouped by color, and owning all planets in a color group allows you to build bases more strategically.
Force Cards
- Landing on a Force card space requires you to draw a card from the appropriate pile (Rebel Force or Empire Force) based on your chosen side.
- Force cards can provide advantages or disadvantages, altering the course of the game. Follow the instructions on the card.
Rent and Taxes
- When another player lands on a planet you own, they must pay you rent. The amount depends on the planet and the number of bases built on it.
- Certain spaces on the board may require players to pay taxes to the bank.
Game End and Winning
- The game ends when all planets on the board have been purchased and are owned by players.
- The winner is the individual player who has accumulated the most bases by the end of the game.
