3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation

- Place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover securely.
Note: If the unit will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
3.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the unit, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. To power off, slide it to the "OFF" position.
3.3 Connecting a Control Pedal (Optional)

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting the Tempo
There are two primary ways to set the tempo:
- Using the TEMPO Dial: Rotate the TEMPO UP/DOWN dial to increase or decrease the tempo in BPM (Beats Per Minute). The current tempo will be displayed on the LCD.
- Using TAP TEMPO: Press the TAP TEMPO button in time with the desired tempo. The RW200 will calculate and set the tempo based on your taps.
4.2 Selecting Beat and Rhythm Patterns
The RW200 offers various beat and rhythm patterns to suit different musical needs.
- Press the BEAT button to cycle through available beat patterns (e.g., 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, etc.).
- Use the individual Sound Control Knobs to adjust the volume of different subdivisions or accents within the selected beat pattern.
4.3 Adjusting Volume and Sound
- MASTER Volume: Use the MASTER volume knob to control the overall output level of the metronome.
- Individual Beat Volumes: The smaller knobs above the display allow you to adjust the volume of specific beats or subdivisions, enabling you to create accented beats.
- SOUND Button: Press the SOUND button to select different metronome click sounds.
4.4 Using Programs (Memory)
The RW200 allows you to store and recall your favorite tempo and beat settings.
- Set your desired tempo, beat pattern, and sound.
- Press the STORE button. The program number on the display will flash.
- Use the PROGRAM buttons to select a memory location (e.g., 1-9).
- Press STORE again to save the settings to the selected program number.
- To recall a program, simply press the PROGRAM buttons to select the desired program number.
4.5 Backlight Function
The RW200 features a backlight for improved visibility of the LCD display in low-light conditions. The backlight can typically be activated or deactivated by a dedicated button or a combination of buttons (refer to the display for "BACKLIGHT" indicator).
4.6 Starting and Stopping the Metronome
Press the START/STOP button to begin the metronome click. Press it again to stop.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
5.2 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the unit behaves erratically, it may be time to replace the 9V battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 3.1. Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power:
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position.

- No Sound:
