Setup and Installation

- Mount the Cistern:

- For low-level tank installation: Position the cistern directly above the toilet bowl, ensuring proper alignment.
- Connect Water Supply: Attach the chrome angle valve with rosette to the water inlet. Connect the chrome copper pipe (Ø 10 mm) from the angle valve to the cistern's fill valve. Ensure all connections are sealed properly to prevent leaks. The cistern offers 3 connection options for flexibility.
- Assemble Internal Mechanism: Install the internal flushing mechanism and fill valve inside the cistern as shown in Figure 1 (top left diagram). Ensure all components are correctly seated and secured.
- Connect Discharge Pipe: Attach the discharge elbow (Ø 50 x 44 mm; 210 x 200 mm) and discharge pipe connector to the cistern's outlet and to the toilet bowl inlet. Verify a secure and watertight connection.
- Adjust Flush Volume: The dual-flush mechanism allows adjustment between 6-7 liters and 3-3.5 liters. Refer to Figure 1 (bottom right diagram, showing 6L/3L and 7L/3.5L options) for details on how to adjust the flush settings. This typically involves adjusting a float or a lever within the mechanism.
- Final Checks: Once installed, slowly turn on the main water supply and check for any leaks. Allow the cistern to fill and perform several test flushes to ensure proper operation and water level.
Operating Instructions
The Cornat LEDA NEW cistern features a dual-flush system designed to conserve water. There are two buttons or a two-stage lever on the top of the cistern for flushing:
- Small Flush (Partial Flush): Press the smaller button or partially depress the lever for a 3-3.5 liter flush. This is ideal for liquid waste.
- Large Flush (Full Flush): Press the larger button or fully depress the lever for a 6-7 liter flush. This is used for solid waste.
