  1. Prepare the Basin: Ensure the mounting hole on your washbasin is clean and free of debris. The tap requires a single hole for installation.
  2. Install the Tap:
    • Insert the connection hoses into the base of the tap.
    • Place the tap onto the basin, ensuring the rubber gasket is correctly positioned between the tap base and the basin surface to prevent leaks.

  3. Connect Water Supply:
    • Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding connection hoses from the tap. The hoses are 350mm long and comply with KTW-A drinking water standards.
    • Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your tap.

  • Cleaning: Clean the chrome surface regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for chrome. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid using abrasive sponges, harsh chemicals, or acidic cleaners, as these can damage the chrome finish.
  • Aerator Maintenance: If water flow becomes weak or uneven, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the spout, clean any debris or mineral deposits, and rinse it under running water. Reattach the aerator securely.
  • Cartridge Replacement: The tap features an easy-to-replace cartridge with long-lasting ceramic seals. If you experience persistent drips or difficulty controlling water temperature/flow, the cartridge may need replacement. Consult a qualified plumber or refer to specific cartridge replacement instructions.
