2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Always follow the assembly instructions carefully. Incorrect assembly can lead to instability and injury.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 265 lbs (120 kg). Overloading can cause structural failure.
• When using outdoors, position the chair in a stable location. In windy conditions, consider securing the chair to the ground to prevent tipping.
• Keep away from direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent material degradation and fading, especially for cushions and canopy.
• Ensure all bolts and connections are tightened securely before each use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
• Keep children and pets away from the chair during assembly.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate Assembly Guide included with your purchase. It is recommended to assemble the chair in the location where it will be used, as its assembled weight can make relocation challenging.

• Preparation: Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay down a protective covering (e.g., cardboard, tarp) if assembling indoors to prevent scratches or metal shavings from damaging surfaces.
• Frame Assembly: Connect the base and curved support frame sections as per the guide. Ensure all bolts are finger-tightened initially, then fully tightened once the structure is stable.
• Seat Attachment: Secure the chaise seat to the hanging mechanism on the frame.
• Cushion and Canopy Installation: Place the foam-filled cushions onto the chaise seat and attach the removable shade canopy to the designated points on the frame.

Important Note: Some users have reported that assembly can be intricate. Take your time and refer to the visual diagrams in the Assembly Guide. If you encounter difficulties, consider seeking assistance from another person.

5. Operating Instructions

• Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 265 lbs (120 kg).

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your chaise lounge chair.

• Frame Care: The powder-coated steel frame is designed to be rust- and weather-resistant. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Cushion Care: The cushions are water-resistant and fade-resistant. However, they are not fully waterproof. In case of heavy rain, it is recommended to remove and store the cushions indoors to prevent them from soaking up water. If cushions get wet, allow them to air dry completely before storage or reuse. Spot clean with a mild detergent and water.
• Canopy Care: The polyester canopy can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. Ensure it is dry before folding or storing.
• Seasonal Storage: For prolonged periods of non-use or during harsh weather conditions (e.g., winter), it is advisable to cover the chair or store it indoors to protect it from elements. Applying a rust preventative like WD-40 to bolts and joints can help maintain their condition.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common concerns you might encounter.

• Difficulty Entering/Exiting: The chair's suspended design can make entry and exit feel less stable initially. Use the frame for support and practice entering and exiting until comfortable. If you are shorter than 5'6", you may find it more challenging.
• Cushions Retaining Water: While water-resistant, cushions are not waterproof. If left uncovered in rain, they may absorb water. Remove wet cushions, gently squeeze out excess water, and allow them to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area.
• Swaying Sensation: The chair is designed to swing. If you experience motion sickness, try to minimize swinging or use the chair in a calmer environment.
• Instability: Ensure all assembly bolts are securely tightened. Check that the chair is placed on a flat, level surface.
• Rust Spots: Although the frame is powder-coated for rust resistance, prolonged exposure to moisture or damage to the coating can lead to rust. Clean any rust spots immediately and apply a rust-inhibiting paint or sealant.
