4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Choose a suitable location for the charging base. Ensure it is against a wall, on a hard, level surface, with at least 1 meter of clear space in front and 0.5 meters on either side.
3. Plug the power adapter into the charging base and then into a wall outlet.
4. Attach the side brushes to the robot by pressing them onto the posts until they click into place.

4.2 Initial Charging

Place the robot on the charging base. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the base. The indicator lights on the robot will show its charging status. For first-time use, fully charge the robot before operation (approximately 4-5 hours).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Manual Operation

Press the power button on the robot to start or pause cleaning. The robot will automatically return to its charging base when the battery is low or cleaning is complete.

5.2 Using the AMIBOT HOME App

Download the AMIBOT HOME app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot. The app allows you to:

• Start/Stop cleaning
• Select cleaning modes (e.g., Auto, Spot, Edge)
• Schedule cleaning times
• Adjust suction power and water flow for mopping
• View cleaning maps and history

5.3 Voice Control

The Amibot Animal XL H2O Connect is compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. To enable voice control, link your AMIBOT HOME account with your preferred voice assistant app. You can then use commands such as: "Alexa, turn on the robot" or "Ok Google, start the robot at 8:30 AM."

6. Maintenance

6.1 Dustbin Cleaning

1. Open the robot's top cover and remove the dustbin.
2. Empty the dustbin contents into a trash receptacle.
3. Clean the filter inside the dustbin. Tap it gently to remove dust or rinse if necessary (ensure it's completely dry before reinserting).
4. Reinsert the dustbin and close the cover.

6.2 Water Tank and Mop Pad Cleaning

1. Remove the water tank from the robot.
2. Detach the mop pad from the water tank.
3. Rinse the mop pad under running water. It can also be machine washed at 30°C. Allow it to air dry completely.
4. Empty any remaining water from the tank and rinse it. Allow it to air dry.
5. Reattach the clean, dry mop pad and water tank to the robot.

6.3 Brush Cleaning

1. Turn the robot over.
2. Remove the main brush cover and then the main brush. Use the cleaning tool (if provided) to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris.
3. Gently pull off the side brushes. Remove any hair or debris.
4. Reinstall all brushes securely.
