2. Setup and Fueling
Your Zippo lighter is shipped without fuel for safety reasons. Before first use, it must be filled with Zippo premium lighter fluid.
Fueling Instructions:
- Remove the inner unit from the lighter case.
- Lift the felt pad on the bottom of the inner unit to expose the packing material.
- Slowly saturate the packing material with Zippo premium lighter fluid. Do not overfill. Stop when the fluid reaches the top of the packing, or when you see the fluid at the top of the wick.
