4. Setup

4.1 Inserting the Battery

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located at the rear of the camcorder.
  2. Insert the supplied rechargeable battery, ensuring the terminals align correctly.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Inserting a Memory Card

The camcorder supports Micro SDXC flash memory cards.

  1. Locate the memory card slot, typically behind the LCD screen or on the side.
  2. Insert the Micro SDXC card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks.
  3. To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.

4.3 Initial Power On

To power on the camcorder, simply open the 2.7-inch LCD screen. The device will automatically power on and display the live view.

5. Operating the Camcorder

5.1 Recording Video

  1. Ensure the camcorder is powered on and in video recording mode.
  2. Point the lens at your subject.
  3. Press the START/STOP button (usually located at the back or on the side) to begin recording. The recording indicator will light up.
  4. Press the START/STOP button again to stop recording.

5.2 Taking Photos

  1. Switch the camcorder to still image mode (if not already in it).
  2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
  3. Press the PHOTO button (usually near the zoom lever) to capture a still image.

5.3 Zoom Function

Use the zoom lever (typically located on top of the camcorder) to adjust the focal length.

  • Push the lever towards 'T' (Telephoto) to zoom in.
  • Push the lever towards 'W' (Wide) to zoom out.

6. Connectivity

6.1 USB Connection

The camcorder features a built-in USB cable for easy connection to a computer.

  1. Unfold the built-in USB cable from the hand strap.
  2. Connect the USB cable to a USB port on your computer.
  3. The camcorder will appear as a removable drive, allowing you to transfer files.
  4. The USB connection also charges the battery when connected to a powered USB port.

6.2 HDMI Output

Connect the camcorder to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable (sold separately) to view your recordings on a larger screen.

  1. Locate the HDMI OUT port on the camcorder (typically behind the LCD screen).
  2. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the camcorder and the other end to an HDMI input on your TV/monitor.
  3. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV/monitor.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Camcorder

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the camcorder.
  • For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and specialized lens cleaning fluid. Avoid touching the lens directly with your fingers.
  • Keep the LCD screen free from dust and smudges using a microfiber cloth.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Camcorder Does Not Power On
