Setup and Assembly
Assembly is straightforward and typically requires no tools. Follow these steps:
- Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.

- Insert Gas Lift into Base: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled base. Ensure it sits securely.

- Attach Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully align the center hole of the seat and backrest assembly with the top of the gas lift cylinder. Lower the seat onto the gas lift, applying gentle pressure until it is seated firmly.
Operating Instructions
Your Modway Jive chair features adjustable functions for personalized comfort:
- Height Adjustment: To raise the seat, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat while standing. To lower the seat, lift the lever while seated. Release the lever at the desired height.

- Tilt Lock and Tension: The chair features a tilt mechanism. To lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever inwards. To unlock and allow tilting, pull the lever outwards. The tension knob, usually located under the front of the seat, can be rotated to adjust the resistance of the tilt mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tension (stiffer tilt) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (looser tilt).
