2. Place the Thinlits™ or Framelits™ die onto the cutting pad with the cutting side facing up.

4. Place the second Standard Cutting Pad on top to complete the 'sandwich'.
5. Feed the entire 'sandwich' through the Sizzix Big Shot Machine by turning the handle. You will need to use the Thin Die Adaptor (part of the Extended Multipurpose Platform) when cutting Thinlits™ and Framelits™.

Die-Cutting Bigz™ Dies

Bigz dies are thicker, steel-rule dies capable of cutting a wider range of materials, including cardboard, chipboard, cork, foil, felt, fabric, and more. To use these dies:

1. Start with a Standard Cutting Pad.
2. Place the Bigz™ die onto the cutting pad with the foam side facing up.
3. Place your chosen material over the die.
4. Place the second Standard Cutting Pad on top to complete the 'sandwich'.
5. Feed the entire 'sandwich' through the Sizzix Big Shot Machine by turning the handle. You will not need to use the Multipurpose Platform when cutting Bigz™ dies.

Embossing with Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folders

Textured Impressions Embossing Folders add texture and dimension to cardstock and paper. To emboss:

1. Start with a Standard Cutting Pad.
2. Place your cardstock inside the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
3. Place the loaded embossing folder onto the cutting pad.
4. Place the second Standard Cutting Pad on top to complete the 'sandwich'.
5. Feed the entire 'sandwich' through the Sizzix Big Shot Machine by turning the handle. Use the standard platform when using Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folders.
