This 22-liter microwave oven features a wide 272mm turntable, a compact and space-saving design, and an easy-to-use push-open door. With 5 levels of variable cooking control and 800W of power, it ensures quick and efficient cooking and easy defrosting.
2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not operate the oven if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.
- Do not attempt to service or repair the oven yourself. Contact qualified service personnel for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the oven. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance.
- Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers as they are liable to explode.
- Always use microwave-safe cookware. Metal containers or foil should not be used in the microwave.
- Supervise children closely when the appliance is in use.

3. Product Overview

3.1 Control Panel
The control panel features two main rotary dials for setting cooking power and time/defrost weight.

- Cooking Control Dial: Used to select the desired power level (Defrost, Low, Med Low, Med, Med High, High).
- Timer/Defrost Dial: Used to set the cooking time in minutes or the defrost weight in kilograms.
3.2 Interior Components
The interior of the microwave includes a glass turntable and a turntable support, which must be correctly positioned for proper operation.

4. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your microwave oven.
4.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity and from the door.
- Check the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches, or dents inside the cavity or on the door. If there is any damage, do not operate the oven and contact your dealer.
4.2 Placement
- Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.
- Ensure adequate ventilation. Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space at the back, 20 cm (8 inches) at the top, and 5 cm (2 inches) on each side for proper airflow. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Keep the oven away from heat sources and strong magnetic fields.
4.3 Electrical Connection
- The oven operates on 220 Volts, 50 Hz AC power. Ensure your power supply matches these specifications.
- Plug the oven into a properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
4.4 Turntable Installation
- Place the turntable support ring in the center of the oven cavity.
- Place the glass turntable plate on top of the support ring, ensuring it sits securely in the center hub.

5. Operating Instructions
This section details how to use your SHARP microwave oven for various cooking tasks.
5.1 Basic Operation
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door securely. The oven will not operate if the door is not properly closed.
- Turn the Cooking Control Dial to select the desired power level.
- Turn the Timer/Defrost Dial to set the desired cooking time. The oven will start automatically once the timer is set.
- To stop cooking, open the oven door or turn the timer dial back to '0'.
5.2 Power Levels
Your microwave oven offers 5 variable power levels:
- HIGH (800W): For fast cooking and reheating.
- MED HIGH: For denser foods or longer cooking times.
- MED: For general cooking.
- MED LOW: For simmering or delicate foods.
- LOW: For keeping food warm.
- DEFROST: For thawing frozen foods.
5.3 Defrost Function
The defrost function allows you to thaw frozen foods based on weight.
- Place the frozen food on the turntable.
- Turn the Cooking Control Dial to 'DEFROST'.
- Turn the Timer/Defrost Dial to the desired weight (e.g., 0.5 kg, 1.0 kg). The oven will automatically calculate the defrosting time.
- During defrosting, it is recommended to turn the food over periodically for even thawing.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your microwave oven.
6.1 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and mild soapy water.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2 Cleaning the Interior
- Wipe the inside of the oven with a soft cloth and warm soapy water after each use.
- For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with a few lemon slices inside and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen the grime, making it easier to wipe away.
- Clean the door seals and sealing surface regularly to ensure proper closure.
6.3 Turntable Care
- The glass turntable and turntable support can be washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.
- Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your microwave oven, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
