3.2. Ceramic Hob

The ceramic hob component of the set features three glass-ceramic cooking zones with touch controls. It includes safety features such as a residual heat indicator, an alarm, and a child lock function.

4. Setup and Installation

Installation of the Beko OSE 22120 X oven and ceramic hob set must be performed by a qualified professional. Incorrect installation can lead to electric shock, fire, or damage to the appliance. Ensure the installation area meets the specified dimensions and ventilation requirements.

4.1. Appliance Dimensions

4.2. Electrical Connection

5. Operating the Oven

The oven is controlled using three mechanical dials located on the front panel.

5.1. Control Dials

  • Function Selector: Choose from 6 cooking functions, including conventional cooking, fan-assisted cooking, and electric grill.
  • Temperature Selector: Set the desired cooking temperature, typically ranging from 50°C to 250°C.

6. Operating the Ceramic Hob

The ceramic hob features touch controls for precise heat management.

6.1. Cooking Zones

The hob has three glass-ceramic zones:

  • Front Left: 180 mm diameter, 1.8 kWh power.
  • Rear Left: 140 mm diameter, 1.2 kWh power.
  • Front Right: 270 x 210 mm (oval), 2.7/1.8 kWh power (dual zone).

6.2. Touch Controls

To activate a cooking zone, place a suitable pan on it and use the corresponding touch controls to select the desired heat level. The hob features an On/Off control for overall power management.

6.3. Safety Features

  • Residual Heat Indicator: An indicator light will remain on after a zone is turned off, signaling that the surface is still hot.
  • Child Lock: Activate the child lock to prevent accidental operation of the hob.
  • Alarm: An audible alarm may sound for certain events, such as spills or prolonged operation without interaction.
