4. Maintenance
4.1. Battery Care
- Charge the battery regularly, avoiding complete discharge for extended periods.
- Use only the original or certified compatible charger and cable.
- If the device will not be used for a long time, store it with a partially charged battery in a cool, dry place.
4.2. Cleaning the Device
To clean the exterior of the device, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device's finish or internal components.
4.3. Software Updates
Periodically check for software updates through the device's web administration interface. Keeping the device's firmware updated ensures optimal performance, security, and compatibility.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. No Internet Connection
- Check SIM Card: Ensure the Micro SIM card is properly inserted and activated with T-Mobile. The device is locked to the T-Mobile network and will only function with a T-Mobile SIM.
- Network Coverage: Verify that you are in an area with T-Mobile network coverage. The hotspot supports specific T-Mobile frequencies (GSM/EDGE/3G/4G: 850/1900 MHz; UMTS/HSPA: 850/AWS/1900MHz). Contact T-Mobile to confirm coverage in your location.
- Device Restart: Power off the hotspot, wait a few seconds, and then power it back on.
- Data Plan: Confirm that your T-Mobile data plan is active and has available data.
5.2. Devices Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi Password: Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password (SSID Key).
- Number of Connected Devices: The hotspot supports up to 8 connected devices. If you have more than 8 devices attempting to connect, some may be denied access. Disconnect unused devices.
- Signal Strength: Ensure your Wi-Fi device is within range of the hotspot and has a strong signal.
5.3. Slow Internet Speed
- Network Congestion: Performance can be affected by network congestion, especially during peak hours.
- Signal Strength: A weak cellular signal will result in slower speeds. Try moving the hotspot to a location with better reception.
- Connected Devices: Multiple connected devices or high-bandwidth activities (e.g., video streaming, large downloads) can reduce overall speed.
