1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

Tools Required: Phillips Head Screwdriver, Flathead Screwdriver, Wire Strippers, Pliers, Electrical Tape, Safety Glasses, Ladder (if necessary).

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare for Installation: Turn off the electrical power at the main circuit breaker or fuse box. Remove any existing fixture from the junction box.
2. Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the provided mounting plate to the electrical junction box using the screws supplied with the junction box. Ensure the mounting plate is firmly attached and level.
3. Make Electrical Connections:
   
   • Connect the fixture's black wire (hot) to the house's black wire (hot) using a wire nut.
   • Connect the fixture's white wire (neutral) to the house's white wire (neutral) using a wire nut.
   • Connect the fixture's ground wire (bare copper or green) to the house's ground wire (bare copper or green) or to the ground screw on the mounting plate.
   Ensure all wire connections are secure and wrapped with electrical tape if necessary.
4. Secure the Fixture: Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box. Align the fixture's canopy with the mounting plate and secure it using the decorative screws provided.
5. Install Shades and Bulbs: Attach the clear Halophane glass shades to the fixture. Screw in the three provided 3.5 Watt LED Vintage Medium Base Bulbs into the sockets. The fixture's solid brass 180-degree adjustable swivels allow the bulbs to be positioned facing either up or down.
6. Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed and all connections are made, restore power at the main circuit breaker. Test the fixture to ensure proper operation.

5. Operating Instructions

This fixture is designed for straightforward operation. Once properly installed and connected to power, it can be controlled using a standard wall switch (not included). The included 3.5 Watt LED Vintage Medium Base Bulbs are dimmable. For dimming functionality, ensure you use an LED-compatible dimmer switch (sold separately).

Cleaning:

To clean the fixture, first turn off the power at the circuit breaker and allow the fixture to cool completely. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes, as these can damage the finish or glass shades. For glass shades, a mild glass cleaner applied to a cloth (not directly to the fixture) can be used, then wipe dry.

Bulb Replacement:

While LED bulbs have a long operational lifespan, if replacement is necessary, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker before unscrewing and replacing bulbs.
