4.2. Distance Alarm Function
The Jata DS990 monitors the distance between the main unit and the child's bracelet(s).
- Setting Distance: The device allows for programming a specific distance threshold. Consult the main unit's controls for adjusting this setting.
- Alarm Activation: If a child wearing a bracelet moves beyond the programmed distance from the main unit, an alarm will sound on the main unit.
- Range: The device can detect distances in open areas up to 50 meters (approximately 164 feet). Environmental factors and obstacles may affect this range.
4.3. Water Contact Alarm Function
Each bracelet is equipped with sensors to detect contact with water.
- Alarm Activation: If a bracelet comes into contact with water, an alarm will sound on the main unit, alerting you to potential water immersion.
- Purpose: This feature is designed to provide an early warning if a child enters water unsupervised.
4.4. Interference-Free Operation
The Jata DS990 is designed to operate without interference, ensuring a clear and reliable signal between the main unit and the bracelets.
