2. Safety Information

• Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum safe working load of 340 lbs (154 kg).
• Sling Compatibility: Always use slings compatible with the Hoyer Advance lift. Ensure slings are in good condition and correctly attached.
• Stable Surface: Operate the lift on a flat, stable, and level surface. Avoid uneven terrain or obstacles.
• Emergency Stop Button: The red emergency stop button on the control panel immediately cuts power to the lift. Pressing this button will stop all functions. To resume operation, twist the button clockwise to release it. Note that the lift will not operate while charging or when the emergency stop button is engaged.

4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions

Operating the Hoyer Advance lift involves several key steps to ensure a safe and comfortable transfer for the patient.

5.1 Controls and Indicators

• Remote Control: Use the handheld remote to raise and lower the boom.
• Emergency Stop: As detailed in Section 2, press to immediately cut power. Release by twisting clockwise.

5.2 Base Adjustment
