2.1 Main Components
- LCD Interface: Displays current settings, flash modes, group assignments, and channel information.
- Control Buttons:
- GROUP: Selects flash groups (A, B, C).
- MODE: Cycles through flash modes (E-TTL, Manual, Multi).
- AF/SS: Autofocus assist beam / Super Sync.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the YN622C-TX controller.
- Slide the cover open in the direction indicated by the arrow.
- Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Mounting on Camera
- Ensure the camera and YN622C-TX are powered off.
- Slide the YN622C-TX's hot shoe mount into your camera's hot shoe.
- Tighten the locking wheel on the YN622C-TX to secure it firmly to the camera.
3.3 Connecting to Flash Units
The YN622C-TX communicates wirelessly with YONGNUO YN622C, YN622C II, or YN685 transceivers attached to your flash units. Ensure these transceivers are also powered on and set to the same channel as the YN622C-TX.
- Attach a compatible YONGNUO transceiver (e.g., YN622C II) to the hot shoe of your external flash unit.
- Power on the flash unit and the transceiver.
- Set the transceiver to the desired group (A, B, or C) and channel.
- Repeat for all additional flash units you wish to control wirelessly.
4. Operation
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The LCD screen will illuminate.
- To power off, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.
4.2 LCD Interface and Navigation
The LCD screen displays all relevant settings. Use the directional pad to navigate through options and adjust values. Press the center button of the directional pad to confirm selections.
4.3 Flash Modes and Group Control
- Press the MODE button to cycle through available flash modes:
- E-TTL (II): Automatic flash exposure.
- Manual: Manually set flash power output.
- Multi Mode: Stroboscopic flash for multiple flashes during a single exposure.
- Press the GROUP button to select and adjust settings for individual flash groups (A, B, C). You can set different modes and power levels for each group.
4.4 Sync Modes and High-Speed Sync (HSS)
- The YN622C-TX supports 1st-curtain sync, 2nd-curtain sync, and High-Speed Sync (Auto FP).
- To activate HSS, ensure your camera and flash units support it. The YN622C-TX can achieve a maximum sync speed of 1/8000s.
- Use the AF/SS button for autofocus assist or Super Sync functions.
4.5 Zoom Control and Channel Selection
- Press the ZOOM/CH button to adjust the zoom of the remote flash heads.
- Hold the ZOOM/CH button to enter channel selection mode. Use the directional pad to select one of the 7 available channels. Ensure all transceivers are set to the same channel to avoid interference.
4.6 Test Firing
Press the TEST button to manually trigger all connected flash units. This is useful for checking connectivity and flash output before shooting.
