Firmware Updates

Periodically check the ADTRAN support website for firmware updates. Keeping the router's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features. Follow the instructions provided with the firmware update package carefully.

Cleaning

To clean the device, power it off and disconnect the power adapter. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners, as they may damage the device.

Environmental Considerations

Ensure the operating environment remains within specified temperature and humidity ranges to prevent damage and ensure reliable operation.

Troubleshooting

No Power

  • Verify the power adapter is securely connected to both the router and a working electrical outlet.
  • Check if the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • Ensure the power adapter is the correct one supplied with the device.

No Network Connectivity

  • Check the Ethernet cable connections to the GIG ports. Ensure they are firmly seated.
  • Observe the GIG port LEDs. If they are off, there might be no link. Try a different cable or port.
