Defrosting

This unit features manual defrost. Over time, frost may accumulate on the interior cooling surfaces. When frost buildup exceeds 1/4 inch, manually defrost the unit. To defrost, unplug the appliance, remove all contents, and leave the door open. Place towels at the bottom to absorb melted ice. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before restarting.

Troubleshooting

Before contacting customer service, review the following common issues and solutions:

  • Appliance does not operate: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Verify the circuit breaker or fuse.
  • Appliance is not cold enough: Ensure the temperature setting is appropriate. Check for excessive door openings or obstructions preventing the door from closing fully. Verify proper ventilation around the unit.
  • Excessive noise: Ensure the unit is on a level surface. Check if any components are vibrating against each other. Normal compressor operation produces some sound.
