  4. Play audio on your tablet, and it should now transmit through your vehicle's speakers.

4.4. Using Bluetooth Headphones

Once paired (Section 3.5), the Bluetooth headphones provide wireless audio.

  • Power on the headphones. They should automatically reconnect to the last paired device.
  • Adjust volume directly on the headphones or your tablet.
  • To conserve battery, power off the headphones when not in use.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

  • Disconnect the power cable before cleaning.
  • Wipe the surfaces of the mount and headphones with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these can damage the finish or internal components.
  • Ensure all components are completely dry before reconnecting power.

5.2. Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • If removing the mount from the vehicle, store it in its original packaging or a protective bag to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. No Power to Dock/Charging Ports

  • Check 12V Connection: Ensure the 12 Volt power cable is securely plugged into both the dock and the vehicle's 12V accessory socket.
  • Vehicle Power: Verify that the vehicle's ignition is on, or the 12V socket is active (some vehicles require the ignition to be on).
  • Fuse: Check the fuse in your vehicle's 12V accessory socket. Replace if blown.

6.2. Tablet Not Charging

  • Power to Dock: Ensure the dock is receiving power (refer to 6.1).
  • USB Cable: Try a different USB charging cable. Ensure the cable is fully inserted into both the tablet and the dock's USB port.
  • Tablet Compatibility: Confirm your tablet is compatible with standard USB charging.

6.3. No Audio from FM Transmitter

  • Audio Cable: Ensure the 3.5mm audio cable is securely connected between the tablet and the dock.
  • Frequency Match: Verify that the FM transmitter frequency on the dock exactly matches the frequency tuned on your vehicle's FM radio.
  • Volume Levels: Check the volume on both your tablet and your vehicle's radio.
  • Interference: Try a different FM frequency if there is local radio interference.

6.4. Bluetooth Headphones Not Pairing/Connecting

  • Headphone Power/Charge: Ensure the headphones are powered on and have sufficient battery charge.
  • Bluetooth On: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your tablet/audio source.
  • Pairing Mode: Put the headphones into pairing mode (usually by holding the power button until an indicator light flashes).
