- Always supervise children in and around the pool.
- Do not set up the pool on sand, mud, or any soft or loose soil conditions.
- Ensure the pool area is level and free from sharp objects.
- The Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter pump is equipped with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI), which is an added safety feature that shuts off the pump if electrical current is exposed to water. Always ensure the GFCI is functioning correctly.
- Never dive into the pool.

4. Setup Instructions
The pool is designed for quick assembly, typically ready for water in 45 minutes. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Prepare the Site: Select a firm, level area free of sharp objects. Do not set up on sand, mud, or loose soil. Ensure the area is large enough to accommodate the 15ft diameter pool plus additional space for the pump and access.
- Lay Out Ground Cloth: Spread the included ground cloth evenly on the prepared site. This provides an extra layer of protection for the pool liner.
- Unfold Pool Liner: Carefully unfold the pool liner onto the ground cloth. Ensure the drain plug is positioned correctly for future draining.
- Assemble Horizontal Beams: Insert the horizontal beams through the sleeves at the top edge of the pool liner.
- Connect T-Joints: Attach the T-joints to connect the horizontal beams, forming the top ring of the pool frame. Secure them with the provided pins.
- Insert Vertical Legs: Slide the vertical support legs into the T-joints. Ensure the legs pass through the reinforced straps on the pool liner. Attach the protective feet to the bottom of each vertical leg.
- Fill with Water & Smooth Wrinkles: Begin filling the pool with a few inches of water. Enter the pool and gently smooth out any wrinkles on the bottom of the liner by pushing them towards the outer edges. Continue filling the pool to the recommended level.

5. Operating the Pool
Once assembled and filled, your pool is ready for enjoyment. The Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter pump is essential for maintaining water quality.
- Filter Pump Operation: Connect the filter pump according to the instructions in the separate pump manual. The pump circulates and filters the pool water, removing debris and maintaining clarity.
- Water Circulation: New dual suction outlet fittings improve water circulation, contributing to better water hygiene and clarity.
- Ladder Use: Use the included ladder for safe entry and exit from the pool. Ensure it is stable before use.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for keeping your pool water clean and safe.
- Filter Cartridge Cleaning/Replacement: Regularly check and clean the filter cartridge in your Krystal Clear pump. Replace the cartridge every two weeks or sooner if the water flow is reduced.
- Water Chemistry: Maintain proper water chemistry by regularly testing pH and chlorine levels. Adjust as needed using appropriate pool chemicals.
- Debris Removal: Use a pool skimmer to remove leaves and other floating debris daily. The included debris cover can help reduce debris when the pool is not in use.
- Draining the Pool: The convenient drain plug connects to a garden hose, allowing water to be drained away from the pool or house area.

7. Troubleshooting
For common issues, refer to the set-up and maintenance DVD or contact Intex customer support.
- Water Leaks: Check for visible punctures in the liner. Small leaks can often be repaired with a vinyl repair kit (sold separately).
- Cloudy Water: Ensure the filter pump is running for sufficient hours daily, clean or replace the filter cartridge, and check water chemistry.
- Reduced Water Flow from Pump: This often indicates a clogged filter cartridge. Clean or replace the cartridge.
