Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new AAA batteries.
- Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Display not turning on: Check if batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the scale is held steady and the luggage is not touching the ground or any other surface during weighing. Recalibrate by turning off and on, or by using the tare function with no weight.
- Weight limit exceeded: If the display shows an overload indicator, the luggage weight exceeds the 80 lb (36 kg) capacity. Remove items to reduce the weight.
