Setup

1. Charging the Selfie Stick

  1. Locate the charging port on the handle of the selfie stick.
  2. Connect the small end of the provided USB charging cable to the selfie stick's charging port.
  3. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  4. The indicator light will typically illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour and provides up to 100 hours of standby time.

2. Attaching Your Smartphone

  1. Gently pull apart the clamps of the smartphone holder.
  2. Carefully insert your smartphone into the holder, ensuring it is centered and securely gripped by both clamps.
  3. Adjust the angle of the holder as needed.

3. Pairing via Bluetooth

  1. Ensure the selfie stick is charged.
  2. Turn on the selfie stick by pressing and holding the power/shutter button for a few seconds until an indicator light flashes.
  3. On your smartphone, go to the Bluetooth settings menu.
  4. Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  5. Select "Mobility Lab" or a similar name (e.g., "SelfieCom", "BT Shutter") from the list of found devices.
  6. Once paired, the indicator light on the selfie stick will typically stop flashing and remain solid, or turn off.
  7. Open your smartphone's camera application to test the connection. Press the shutter button on the selfie stick; your phone's camera should take a photo.

Note: The selfie stick is compatible with iOS 4.0 and Android 3.0 or higher. If pairing issues occur, ensure your phone's operating system is up to date.

Operating the Selfie Stick

1. Extending and Retracting the Pole

  1. To extend, gently pull the pole segments outwards from the handle.
  2. Extend to your desired length, up to 98 cm.
  3. To retract, push the segments back into the handle until fully collapsed (initial length 20 cm).

2. Taking Photos/Videos

  1. Ensure your smartphone is securely attached and the selfie stick is paired via Bluetooth.
  2. Open your smartphone's camera application.
  3. Position the selfie stick and your smartphone to frame your shot.
  4. Press the shutter button on the selfie stick handle to take a photo or start/stop video recording (functionality may vary slightly depending on your phone's camera app).
