Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Pro'sKit 900-270 Mini-Vacuum is cordless and operates on 4 AA batteries (not included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the main unit.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Attaching Accessories

To attach an accessory (crevice tool or dusting brush):

  1. Align the desired accessory with the suction nozzle of the main unit.
  2. Push the accessory firmly onto the nozzle until it is securely attached.
  3. To remove, gently pull the accessory away from the nozzle.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

  • To turn on the mini-vacuum, slide the power switch to the "ON" position.
  • To turn off the mini-vacuum, slide the power switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Cleaning Procedures

  • General Cleaning: Use the main suction nozzle for larger debris.
  • Crevice Tool: Attach the crevice tool for reaching narrow gaps and tight spaces, such as between keyboard keys or in printer crevices.
  • Dusting Brush: Attach the dusting brush for gently removing dust from sensitive surfaces like camera lenses, screens, or circuit boards. The brush helps dislodge dust while the vacuum suctions it away.

Note: For optimal performance, ensure the filter is clean before each use.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Dust Compartment and Filter

Regular cleaning of the dust compartment and filter is essential for maintaining suction power and device longevity.

  1. Ensure the mini-vacuum is turned off.
  2. Twist or unlatch the dust compartment from the main unit (refer to device diagram if available).
  3. Carefully remove the filter from the dust compartment.
  4. Empty accumulated dust and debris from the compartment into a waste bin.
  5. Gently tap the filter to dislodge dust. If necessary, rinse the filter with cool water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
  6. Reinsert the dry filter into the dust compartment and reattach the compartment to the main unit, ensuring it is securely fastened.

2. Battery Replacement

When suction power diminishes, it is likely time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the "Setup" section.

  • Always replace all 4 AA batteries at the same time.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
  • Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
