5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Plug the steamer into a standard electrical outlet. Press the power button located on the base unit. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the steamer is heating up.
  2. Heat-Up Time: The steamer will heat up and be ready to produce steam in approximately 45 seconds.
  3. Prepare Garment: Hang the garment on the 360-degree swivel hanger. For best results, gently pull the fabric taut with one hand while steaming with the other.
  4. Begin Steaming: Hold the steam nozzle a few inches away from the fabric. Move the nozzle in a downward motion, allowing the steam to penetrate and relax the fibers. The 1.3-liter water tank provides over 46 minutes of continuous steam.
  5. Using Attachments:
    • Pants Press: Attach the pants press to the nozzle to create crisp creases on trousers.
    • Fabric Brush: Use the fabric brush attachment to remove lint, pet hair, and to help steam penetrate thicker fabrics more effectively.
  6. Power Off: When finished steaming, press the power button to turn off the unit and unplug it from the outlet.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steamer.

  • Empty Water Tank: After each use, always empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Wipe Clean: The exterior of the steamer can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits may build up in the steamer, especially if tap water is used. To descale, mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Pour into the water tank and run the steamer until half the solution is used. Turn off, unplug, and let it sit for 30 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining solution. Rinse the tank thoroughly with fresh water. Perform descaling every few months or as needed based on water hardness.
  • Storage: The foldable hanger and telescopic pole allow for easy storage. Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry before storing.
