2. Safety Information
- Use caution near the face and eyes.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Clean properly after each use.
- Avoid ingestion or inhalation of small parts.
- Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning or maintenance.
3. Setup and Operating Instructions
3.1 Before Cutting Hair
- Ensure the hair clipper is operating correctly.
- The vacuum feature will not function properly if the hair chamber is removed.
- The person being trimmed should be seated so that the top of their head is at eye level.
- Comb the hair as it is normally styled to remove knots and tangles.
- Ensure hair is dry. Hair clippers perform best with dry hair, making it easier to see how much hair is being cut.
- Hold the hair clipper in the palm of one hand with your thumb resting firmly on the top of the hair clipper. This grip provides comfortable cutting control.
3.2 Attaching Trimming Guides
- Select the desired trimming guide to achieve the preferred hair length. The trimming guides are numbered and marked with 1/8" (3mm), 1/4" (6mm), 3/8" (9mm), 1/2" (12mm), 3/4" (18mm), and 1" (25mm).
- Hold the trimming guide with the teeth up. Slide the trimming guide onto the blades until it locks into place.

3.3 Giving a Comfortable, Even Cut
- Allow the clipper to cut through the hair without moving it too quickly. Moving the clipper too quickly may create a pulling sensation.
- The vacuum sucks the clippings through the inlet into the hair chamber.
- Use short strokes when cutting, and initially use the longest trimming guide. You can always use a closer trimming guide later if you want a shorter cut.
3.4 How to Give a Haircut
- Start at the back of the head, holding the clipper as shown, lightly stroke upwards, making sure you are taking off the desired amount of hair.
- Work your way up to the crown of the head in layers.
- When completed, comb the area to remove any loose hair and to determine if you need any further cutting.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Hair Chamber
- After trimming, turn off and unplug the device.
- Remove the hair chamber by pressing the release button and gently pulling it away from the main unit.
- Empty the collected hair into a waste bin.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to clear any remaining hair from the chamber and the vacuum inlet.
- Wipe the chamber with a dry cloth if necessary.
- Reattach the hair chamber securely to the main unit.
4.2 Oiling the Blades
- For optimal performance and to keep the precision-ground blades sharp, apply a small amount of the included oil to the blades after every few uses.
- Turn on the clipper for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.

5. Troubleshooting
- Reduced Vacuum Suction: If the vacuum suction drops, immediately turn off the device, empty the hair chamber, and check for any clogs in the vacuum inlet or filter. Ensure the chamber is securely reattached.
- Blades Pulling Hair: This can occur if the blades are dull or not properly lubricated. Apply a few drops of the provided oil to the blades and run the clipper for a few seconds. Ensure hair is dry before trimming.
- Hair Escaping the Vacuum: While the vacuum captures up to 90% of hair, some fine hairs may escape. Ensure the hair chamber is correctly seated and there are no gaps. For best results, trim in an area that is easy to clean.
