2. Important Safety Instructions
To prevent injury or damage, always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances. This includes, but is not limited to:

4. Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the induction cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
- Placement: Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 10 cm clearance from walls or other appliances). Do not place it near water sources or flammable materials.
- Power Connection: Ensure the power outlet matches the voltage requirements of the cooktop (typically 220-240V, 50Hz). Plug the power cord securely into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the cooking surface with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before plugging in.
5. Operating Instructions
The Impex Omega-L3 Induction Cooktop features intuitive sensor touch controls and an LED display for easy operation.
5.1 Basic Operation
- Power On: Place an induction-compatible pot or pan centrally on the cooking surface. Press the ON/OFF button. The LED display will illuminate.
- Select Mode/Power:
- Manual Mode: Press the Function button to cycle through power levels. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the power/temperature (8 levels available).
- Pre-programmed Modes: Press the Function button repeatedly to select one of the 7 pre-programmed cooking modes (e.g., Fry, Stir-fry, Milk, Water, Rice, Roti, Curry). The cooktop will automatically adjust power and temperature for the selected mode.
- Set Timer: Press the Timer button. Use the + and - buttons to set the desired cooking time (up to 4 hours). For pre-setting a delayed start, refer to the full product manual for detailed instructions on the 24-hour pre-set timer function. The cooktop will automatically switch off once the cooking timer expires.
- Power Off: After cooking, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the cooktop. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool down the internal components.
5.2 Compatible Cookware
For induction cooktops, only cookware made of ferromagnetic materials is suitable. This includes:
- Cast iron pots and pans.
- Steel or stainless steel pots and pans with a magnetic base.
- Enamelled iron pots and pans.
To check if your cookware is compatible, hold a magnet to the bottom of the pot or pan. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is suitable for induction cooking.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cooking Surface: Wipe the glass cooking surface with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for ceramic or induction cooktops. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Control Panel: Wipe the control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior housing with a soft, damp cloth.
- Ventilation Openings: Ensure the ventilation openings on the bottom and sides of the cooktop are free from dust and debris to prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner if necessary.
