- Tips for Effective Use:
- Overlap each pass slightly to ensure complete snow removal.
- For heavy or wet snow, proceed at a slower pace to prevent clogging and maintain motor efficiency.
- Clear snow as soon as possible after a snowfall for easier removal.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your snow shovel.
- Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the battery and use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the snow shovel. Remove any snow, ice, or debris from the auger housing and directional vanes.
- Scraper Bar Inspection: Periodically inspect the scraper bar for wear or damage. A worn scraper bar can reduce clearing effectiveness. Replace if necessary.
- Storage: Store the snow shovel in a dry, protected area when not in use. Ensure it is clean and free of moisture to prevent corrosion. The collapsible design allows for compact storage.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Refer to your battery and charger manual for specific care instructions.
