Setup
Before First Use
- Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
- Wash the inner cooking pot, steaming tray, measuring cup, and rice paddle in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
- Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and cabinets, to allow for proper ventilation.

Cooking Rice (White, Quick, Whole Grain)
- Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup. One rice cooker cup is approximately 3/4 standard cup.
- Rinse rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- Place the rinsed rice into the inner cooking pot.
- Add the appropriate amount of water. Refer to the rice-to-water ratio table below.
- Close the lid securely.
- Plug the rice cooker into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the SELECT MODE button repeatedly until the indicator light for your desired rice type (White Rice, Quick Rice, or Whole Grain) illuminates.
- Press the START button. The cooker will begin the cooking cycle.
- Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the KEEP WARM setting. The display will show the elapsed time in Keep Warm mode.
- For best results, allow rice to rest on Keep Warm for 5-10 minutes before serving. Fluff with the rice paddle.

Steaming Food
- Add 1 to 2 cups of water to the inner cooking pot.
- Place the steaming tray into the inner cooking pot.
- Arrange food to be steamed in the steaming tray. Do not overfill.
- Close the lid securely.
- Plug the rice cooker into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the SELECT MODE button until the STEAM COOK indicator light illuminates.
- Press the COOK TIME button, then use the HOUR and MIN. buttons to set the desired steaming time.
- Press the START button.
- When the timer expires, the cooker will beep and switch to KEEP WARM. Carefully open the lid, avoiding steam, and remove steamed food.
Tip: You can steam food while cooking rice. Place the steaming tray with food on top of the rice during the last 10-20 minutes of the rice cooking cycle, depending on the food.
Using Delay Time
The Delay Time function allows you to program the cooker to start cooking at a later time, so your food is ready when you need it.
- Prepare rice and water in the inner pot as usual.
- Select the desired cooking mode (White Rice, Quick Rice, or Whole Grain).
- Press the DELAY TIME button. The display will flash.
- Use the HOUR and MIN. buttons to set the delay time (up to 15 hours). This is the time until cooking finishes.
- Press the START button. The timer will count down, and cooking will begin automatically when the delay time expires.
Heat/Simmer Function
Use the Heat/Simmer function for preparing soups, stews, or other dishes that require simmering.
- Add ingredients to the inner cooking pot.
- Close the lid.
- Press the SELECT MODE button until the HEAT/SIMMER indicator light illuminates.
- Press the COOK TIME button, then use the HOUR and MIN. buttons to set the desired cooking time.
- Press the START button.
- When cooking is complete, the cooker will switch to KEEP WARM.
Care and Cleaning
