  3. Power On: Press and hold the power button until the unit powers on.
  4. Frequency Scan and Sync: Perform a one-touch frequency scan on the P3R to find an available frequency. Then, use the IR sync function to connect the P3R to your P3T transmitter. Refer to your P3T transmitter manual for detailed syncing instructions.

Operating Instructions

  • Volume Control: Use the dedicated volume knob on the side of the bodypack to adjust your personal monitoring level.
  • Mix Mode: The P3R allows you to customize a mono blend from two channels of audio. This is useful for balancing your own vocal/instrument against the band mix.
  • Stereo Mode: Alternatively, select stereo mode to adjust the left/right balance of the audio as desired, providing a spatial listening experience.
  • Audio Reference Companding: The P3R utilizes patented Shure Audio Reference Companding technology to ensure clear sound with ultra-low noise and no artifacts.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears. Always use fresh batteries for optimal performance.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the bodypack with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the P3R in a cool, dry place when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
