The TRIXES Digital LCD Travel Alarm Clock features a clear display and intuitive buttons for easy operation. It also includes an integrated cover/stand for portability and convenience.

Control Buttons:

• 12/24H Button: Switches between 12-hour and 24-hour time format.
• Alarm Button (Bell Icon): Used to set and activate/deactivate the alarm.
• Date Button (Calendar Icon): Used to set the date (Year/Month/Day).
• Minus (-) Button: Decreases values during setting modes.
• Plus (+) / °C/°F Button: Increases values during setting modes; switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature display.
• Snooze/Backlight Button (Zzz + Lightbulb Icon): Activates snooze when alarm rings; turns on backlight for 5 seconds.
• Brightness Switch (Side): Toggles between High and Dim backlight brightness.

Setup

Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover located at the rear of the clock.
2. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely. The clock will emit a prompt tone "Di" indicating it is ready for use.

Initial Power On

Upon successful battery installation, the LCD display will activate, showing default time and date settings. The backlight may briefly illuminate.

Operating Instructions

Time Setting

1. In time display mode, press and hold the 12/24H button until the hour number begins to flash.
2. Release the button, then use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press the 12/24H button again; the minute number will flash. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the minute. (Long press for quick adjustment).
4. Press the 12/24H button to save the time setting.
5. To change between 12-hour and 24-hour format, simply press the 12/24H button during normal time display.

Date Setting

1. In time display mode, press and hold the Date (Calendar Icon) button until the year number begins to flash.
2. Release the button, then use the + or - buttons to adjust the year.
3. Press the Date button again; the month number will flash. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the month.
4. Press the Date button again; the day number will flash. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the day.
5. Press the Date button to save the date setting. The day of the week will automatically adjust based on the set date.

Alarm Setting

1. In time display mode, press and hold the Alarm (Bell Icon) button until the alarm hour begins to flash.
2. Release the button, then use the + or - buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the Alarm button again; the alarm minute will flash. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the alarm minute.
4. Press the Alarm button to save the alarm time setting. The display will then show the alarm volume setting (L01 for High Volume, L02 for Low Volume). Use the + or - buttons to select the desired volume.
5. Press the Alarm button again to save the alarm setting. The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating the alarm is active.
6. To turn the alarm on/off, simply press the Alarm button during normal time display. When the alarm is off, "OFF" will be displayed.

Snooze Function

• When the alarm is ringing, press the Snooze/Backlight button to pause the alarm. It will ring again after 9 minutes.
• To turn off the snooze function and the alarm for that day, press any button except the Snooze/Backlight button while the alarm is ringing.

Weekend Mode

When Weekend Mode is turned on, the alarm will only ring from Monday to Friday, allowing you to sleep in on weekends without manually deactivating the alarm.

1. In time display mode, press the Minus (-) button to toggle Weekend Mode on/off.
2. When active, the "WEEKEND" icon will appear on the display.

Temperature Display

The clock displays the room temperature. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F):

• In time display mode, press the °C/°F button to select the desired temperature unit.
• Note: If the temperature is below -9.9°C or above 50°C, the display will show "LL" or "HH" respectively.

Backlight Function

• To temporarily illuminate the screen, press the Snooze/Backlight button. The backlight will stay on for 5 seconds and then turn off automatically.
• To adjust the backlight brightness, use the Brightness Switch on the right side of the clock to toggle between High and Dim settings.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: When the low battery icon appears on the display or the clock beeps, it's time to replace the AAA batteries. Ensure proper polarity.
• Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

• Display is blank or dim: Check battery installation and replace batteries if necessary. Ensure the backlight brightness is not set to dim if visibility is an issue.
• Alarm not sounding: Verify that the alarm is activated (bell icon visible) and that Weekend Mode is not active if it's a weekend. Check alarm volume setting.
• Incorrect time/date: Follow the time and date setting instructions carefully.
• Temperature display shows "LL" or "HH": The room temperature is outside the measurable range of -9.9°C to 50°C.
