This manual provides instructions for the safe and effective operation of your MagLite ML300L LED 3-Cell D Flashlight. Setup

Battery Installation

The MagLite ML300L requires three (3) D-cell alkaline batteries for operation. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Insert three D-cell alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring the positive (+) end of each battery faces towards the head of the flashlight.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on by turning it clockwise until it is securely tightened.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off and Mode Selection

The flashlight features a multi-mode electronic switch. Press the power button to cycle through different lighting modes.

  • 1x Press: Activates 100% brightness in General, Outdoor, Police, and Tactical modes.
  • 2x Press: Activates Low brightness in General and Outdoor modes, 100% brightness in Police mode, and Strobe in Tactical mode.
  • 3x Press: Activates ECO mode in General and Police modes, and Strobe in Outdoor and Tactical modes.

Adjusting the Beam Focus

The MagLite ML300L features an Advanced Focus System. To adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a concentrated spot beam, rotate the head of the flashlight clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, keep the flashlight clean. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Battery Care

Remove batteries from the flashlight if it will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and potential damage. Replace all three D-cell batteries simultaneously with new ones of the same type.
