Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your GUESS U0571L1 watch. Please read these instructions carefully to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your timepiece.
Setup
1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage or defects. Ensure all protective films are removed from the crystal and case back.

3. Setting Time and Date
Your watch features a multi-function dial with Day and Date indicators. To set the time and date:
- Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch case) out to the first click position to set the date. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise until the correct date is displayed.
- Pull the crown out to the second click position to set the time. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands. Ensure you set the correct AM/PM time, as this affects the date change.
- Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into its normal position against the watch case.

Operating
Timekeeping
The watch operates on a Japanese Quartz movement, providing accurate timekeeping. Once set, the watch will continuously display the current time.
Multi-Function Dials
The watch features sub-dials for Day and Date functions. These indicators automatically update as the time progresses. Ensure the main time is set correctly for these functions to display accurately.
Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your GUESS U0571L1 watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet to prevent water intrusion.
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. The silicone strap can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one LR44 battery. When the watch stops running or the hands move erratically, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: If the watch is not running, check if the crown is pushed in completely. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
- Incorrect Time/Date: Refer to the "Setting Time and Date" section to reset the watch. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting.
- Condensation Under Crystal: If condensation appears under the crystal, it may indicate a loss of water resistance. Have the watch inspected by a professional immediately.
