The InSinkErator HWT-00 Instant Hot Water Tank is designed to provide near-boiling water (approximately 200 degrees F inside the tank) directly at your kitchen sink. This 2/3-gallon stainless steel tank features an easily adjustable thermostat and a 750-watt heating element for quick and convenient hot water access.

2. Mount the Tank: Securely mount the tank in an upright position within the under-sink cabinet. The tank features tool-free connections for convenience.
3. Connect Water Lines: Connect the cold water supply line to the tank's inlet. Connect the hot water outlet from the tank to your instant hot water faucet (sold separately). Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
4. Install Faucet (if applicable): If installing a new faucet, follow the faucet's specific instructions. The HWT-00 is compatible with all InSinkErator instant hot water faucets.
5. Connect Power: Once all water connections are secure and the tank is filled with water, plug the tank's power cord into the standard under-sink outlet. The unit includes dry start protection.
6. Flush the System: Before first use, flush the system according to the faucet's instructions to remove any air and ensure proper operation.

Temperature Adjustment:

• The tank features an easily adjustable thermostat. Locate the temperature control knob on the front of the tank.
• Turn the knob to adjust the desired water temperature. The manufacturer's recommended setpoint is approximately 200 degrees F for optimum performance.
• Allow a few minutes for the water to reach the newly set temperature after adjustment.

Dispensing Hot Water:

• To dispense hot water, activate your compatible InSinkErator instant hot water faucet (sold separately) according to its specific operating instructions.
• The tank will continuously supply near-boiling water as long as the faucet is activated, up to its 2/3-gallon capacity.

• The HWT-00 tank is compatible with InSinkErator under-sink water filtration systems (sold separately).
