Important Safety Instructions

• Do not place the humidifier directly on carpet, wood floors, or furniture that can be damaged by moisture.
• Do not operate the humidifier without water in the tank.
• Do not use hot water in the tank. Use only cool tap water.
• Keep the humidifier out of reach of children and pets.
• Unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
• Do not block the mist outlet.
• Do not immerse the base in water or other liquids.

Setup and Assembly

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the "Components" section are present.
2. Placement: Place the humidifier base on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface at least 6 inches from walls and furniture.
3. Attach Extension Nozzle (Optional): If desired, attach the 15-inch extension nozzle to the top of the water tank. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

4. Fill Water Tank:
   • Remove the water tank from the base unit.
   • Unscrew the water tank cap at the bottom of the tank.
   • Fill the tank with cool, clean tap water. Do not use hot water.
   • Securely screw the cap back onto the tank.
   • Place the filled water tank back onto the base unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.

5. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.

Operating Instructions

The humidifier can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel Functions:

• ON/OFF: Press to turn the unit on or off.
• MIST: Cycles through 5 mist output settings (Low to High).
• HUMIDISTAT: Sets desired humidity level (e.g., 40%, 45%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%, Constant). The unit will automatically maintain this level.
• DELAY START: Sets a timer for the unit to turn on (up to 24 hours).
• AUTO-OFF: Sets a timer for the unit to turn off (up to 24 hours).
• BEEP/DIM: Toggles audible beeps on/off and adjusts display brightness.

Using the Aroma Tray:

The humidifier includes an aroma tray for diffusing essential oils. Locate the small tray on the side or back of the base unit. Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto an aroma pad (or directly into the tray if designed for direct oil application). Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

Daily Maintenance:

• Empty and rinse the water tank and base unit with cool water.
• Allow all parts to air dry before reassembly or storage.

Weekly Cleaning:

1. Descaling the Base Unit:
   • Unplug the unit.
   • Remove the water tank and extension nozzle.
   • Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the base unit, covering the nebulizer.
   • Let it soak for 20 minutes.
   • Gently scrub the nebulizer and surrounding areas with a soft brush (a small cleaning brush is often included).
   • Rinse the base unit thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
2. Cleaning the Water Tank:
   • Add 1 cup of white vinegar to the water tank and fill with water.
   • Shake gently and let it soak for 20 minutes.
   • Empty the tank and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
3. Cleaning the Ceramic Filter: The humidifier features a permanent ceramic filter. Rinse it under cool running water weekly. Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaners.

Storage:

Before storing, ensure all parts are clean and completely dry. Store the humidifier in a cool, dry place.
