4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for a secure and successful installation. It is recommended to have at least two people for installation.

4.1 Check Compatibility

  • TV VESA Pattern: Verify your TV's VESA pattern (horizontal x vertical distance between mounting holes) is between 200x100mm and 600x400mm.
  • TV Weight: Confirm your TV's weight (without stand) does not exceed 132 lbs.
  • Blocked Inputs: Check the location of your TV's inputs to ensure the mount will not block them.
  • Wall Type and Stud Spacing: Identify your wall type (wood stud, concrete, or brick) and measure wood stud spacing (16", 18", or 24").

4.2 Installation Steps (3-Step Process)

  1. Attach Brackets to TV:

    Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the brackets are centered and securely fastened. The straps should hang freely at the bottom.

  2. Mount Wall Plate to Wall:

    Locate the desired mounting position on your wall. Use the provided bubble level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling points. For wood studs, drill pilot holes and secure the wall plate using lag bolts. For concrete or brick walls, drill holes, insert concrete anchors, and then secure the wall plate with lag bolts. Ensure the wall plate is firmly attached to the wall.

  3. Hang TV on Wall Plate:

    With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the attached brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate. Gently lower the TV until the brackets fully engage with the wall plate. Pull down the release straps to lock the TV securely in place. Ensure the TV is level and stable.

5.1 Tilting the TV

This TV mount allows you to tilt your TV forward up to 8 degrees. This feature is useful for reducing glare from lights or windows and optimizing your viewing angle.
