4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective and safe garment steaming.

1. Connect Power: Plug the 6.6-foot power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
2. Select Power Setting: Turn the rotary dial on the unit to select your desired power setting. Options include 800W for delicate fabrics or 1575W for heavier materials and faster steaming. The power indicator light will illuminate.
3. Heat Up: Allow approximately one minute for the steamer to heat up. Steam will begin to emit from the nozzle once ready.
4. Prepare Garment: Hang the garment on a hanger or use the included folding hanger. For best results, gently pull the fabric taut with one hand while steaming with the other.
5. Begin Steaming: Hold the steam nozzle a few inches from the fabric. Move the nozzle in a downward motion, allowing the steam to penetrate the fibers. The steam flow is approximately 1.41 oz./minute.
6. Fabric Compatibility: The H3S is suitable for a wide range of fabrics, including silk, muslin, cotton, linen, embroidery, wool, and heavy denim.
7. Additional Applications: The 300°F steam can also be used to sterilize and eliminate some allergens from household items such as overstuffed furniture, bedding, table linens, curtains, rugs & carpets, pet beds, and stuffed animals.
8. Finish Steaming: Once wrinkles are removed, turn the rotary dial to the 'OFF' position. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before storing.

• Empty Water Tank: After each use, always empty any remaining water from the tank.
