  4. Fitting Protective Covers: Fit the protective covers by holding them in position. Ensure the key aperture in the cover aligns with the key aperture in the lock, then tap them firmly until they click home.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Locking the Bolt: Insert the key with the key blade pointing away from the keep and rotate clockwise until the bolt is fully extended and locked.
  2. Unlocking the Bolt: Insert the key with the key blade pointing towards the keep and rotate anti-clockwise until the bolt is fully retracted and unlocked.
  3. Important Note: If you wrongly insert the key, DO NOT force the key as it will be damaged or broken. Ensure correct key orientation before turning.
