Operating Instructions

Programming User Codes

The lock comes with two pre-set user codes. It is recommended to change these immediately after installation and program new codes as needed. The lock supports up to 19 unique user codes.

  1. Open the battery cover on the interior assembly.
  2. Press the programming button (usually located near the battery compartment).
  3. Enter a new 4-8 digit user code on the touchscreen.
  4. Press the Schlage button to confirm.
  5. Repeat for additional user codes.

Locking and Unlocking

  • To Lock/Unlock from Inside: Rotate the thumbturn on the interior assembly.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The Schlage BE375 deadbolt operates on 2 AA batteries. When the batteries are low, the lock will provide an audible and visual warning. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
