Care and Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Timex Ironman watch is water-resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not suitable for scuba diving.
- Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes, as this can affect the water seals.
- After exposure to salt water, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry thoroughly.
Cleaning
Clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch case or strap.
Battery Information
The watch uses one Lithium Metal battery (included). When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.
