Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the proper setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Invicta Pro Diver Model 18024SYB watch. Please read this guide thoroughly to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your timepiece.
Setup
Setting the Time
- Identify the Crown: The crown is the small knob located on the side of the watch case, typically at the 3 o'clock position.
- Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown outwards to position B. You may feel a slight click. This position allows for time adjustment.
- Adjust the Time: Rotate the crown in either direction to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
- Push the Crown Back: Once the time is set, push the crown firmly back into its original position (position A) against the watch case. This ensures the watch is sealed and prevents water ingress.

Operating the Watch
Time Reading
Your Invicta Pro Diver watch features an analog display with hour, minute, and second hands. The luminous markers and hands enhance readability in low-light conditions.
Unidirectional Rotating Bezel
The watch is equipped with a black ion-plated stainless steel unidirectional rotating bezel. This bezel is designed to rotate only counter-clockwise, preventing accidental increases in dive time. To use it:
- Align the zero marker on the bezel with the minute hand at the start of an activity (e.g., a dive or timed event).
- The minute hand will then indicate the elapsed time against the bezel's scale.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational diving. It is not suitable for scuba diving or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in and secured before any contact with water.

Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
- Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and fingerprints.
- For the silicone strap, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish or seals.
Battery Replacement
Your Invicta Pro Diver watch is powered by a Japanese Quartz movement, which requires a battery. When the watch stops running, it indicates the battery needs replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Water Resistance Care
- Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.
- Avoid operating the crown or pushers (if present) while the watch is wet or submerged.
- Extreme temperature changes (e.g., hot shower followed by cold water) can affect the watch's seals.
- It is advisable to have the water resistance seals checked periodically by a professional, especially if the watch is frequently exposed to water.
Troubleshooting
Watch Not Running
- Battery Depletion: As a quartz watch, if the watch stops, the battery is likely depleted. Seek professional battery replacement.
- Crown Position: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to position A. If it is pulled out, the watch will not operate.
Condensation Inside Crystal
If you notice condensation or moisture inside the watch crystal, it indicates that the water resistance seals may have been compromised. This requires immediate attention from a qualified watch technician to prevent further damage to the movement.
