1. Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee
- Ensure the coffee maker is plugged in and the carafe is on the heating plate.
- Open the water tank lid and fill the tank with fresh, cold water according to the desired number of cups. Refer to the markings on the water tank.
- Swing out the filter holder and insert a new paper filter (size #6).
- Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one level scoop (approximately 6-7 grams) per cup, adjusting to personal taste.
- Close the filter holder and the water tank lid.
- Press the power button (often indicated by a coffee cup icon or 'ON/OFF') to start the brewing process. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the keep-warm function. The appliance will automatically shut off after a set period (typically 40 minutes).

Using the Timer Function
The timer allows you to program the coffee maker to start brewing at a specific time.
- Prepare the coffee maker as described in steps 1-5 of "Brewing Coffee" (water, filter, coffee).
- Press the 'TIMER' button. The display will show a flashing time.
- Use the 'H' (hour) and 'M' (minute) buttons to set the desired start time for brewing.
- Press the 'TIMER' button again to confirm the setting. The timer indicator light will illuminate.
- The coffee maker will automatically start brewing at the programmed time.
Maintenance
Daily Cleaning
- Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.
- Remove the used paper filter and discard it.
- Wash the glass carafe and filter holder with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are not dishwasher safe.

Descaling
