4. Setup and Assembly

  1. Ensure Power is Off: Make sure your Bosch MUM5 food processor is unplugged from the power outlet.

  4. Select Cutting Grid: Choose either the small (0.9 cm) or large (1.3 cm) cube cutting grid. Carefully align the chosen grid with the blade holder and press it down until it clicks into place. Handle grids by their edges to avoid contact with sharp parts.
  5. Secure the Lid: Place the lid with the feed chute onto the main housing. Rotate it clockwise until it locks securely. The food processor will not operate if the lid is not correctly locked.
  6. Insert Food Pusher: Place the food pusher into the feed chute.

5. Operating Instructions

Once assembled, you can begin using your cube cutter. Always ensure the food processor is on a stable, flat surface.

Preparing Ingredients:

  • Ingredients should be firm but not excessively hard or frozen.
  • Cut larger ingredients into pieces that fit comfortably into the feed chute (approximately 5 cm x 5 cm).
  • Remove any hard cores, seeds, or tough skins that could damage the blades.

Dicing Process:

  1. Plug In: Plug the food processor into a suitable power outlet.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Disassembly for Cleaning:
