Setup

Setting Your TSA Combination Lock

Your Samsonite S'Cure suitcase is equipped with an integrated TSA-approved combination lock. The lock is preset to 0-0-0 at the factory. To set your personal combination, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the lock is set to the factory default (0-0-0) or your last set combination.
2. Locate the reset button, usually a small, recessed button on the side or bottom of the lock mechanism.
3. Use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold the reset button until you hear a click or feel it engage.
4. While holding the reset button, set your desired 3-digit combination by turning the dials.
5. Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
6. Test your new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your new code to open the lock.

Operating Your Suitcase

Telescopic Handle Operation

To extend the telescopic handle, press the button located on the top of the handle and pull upwards. The handle can be locked at multiple heights for comfortable maneuvering. To retract, press the button again and push the handle down until it is fully nested within the suitcase.

Spinner Wheel Usage

Your S'Cure Spinner Suitcase features four double spinner wheels, allowing for 360-degree rotation and smooth gliding in any direction. This design reduces strain on your arm and shoulder, making it easy to navigate through airports and other environments. For optimal performance, keep the suitcase upright and push it alongside you rather than tilting and pulling.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the hard-shell exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
• Cleaning the Interior: The interior lining can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow to air dry completely before closing the suitcase.
• Wheel Maintenance: Regularly check the wheels for any debris (hair, lint, etc.) that might hinder their smooth operation. Clean as needed.
• Storage: Store your suitcase in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the suitcase during storage to prevent deformation.

• Lock Not Opening: Ensure you are entering the correct 3-digit combination. If you have forgotten your combination, refer to the "Setting Your TSA Combination Lock" section for reset instructions.
• Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Check for any debris or obstructions caught in the wheels. Clean them thoroughly. If the issue persists, contact Samsonite customer support.
