1. Introduction

The Rosewill Apollo RK-9100xBRE is a high-performance mechanical gaming keyboard designed for durability and responsiveness. 3. Setup

  1. Connect the Keyboard: Plug the attached USB cable from the keyboard into an available USB 2.0 port on your computer. The keyboard is plug-and-play and should be recognized automatically by your operating system.
  2. Attach the Wrist Rest: Align the clips on the detachable wrist rest with the corresponding slots on the front edge of the keyboard. Gently push down until it clicks into place.
  3. Connect Audio Pass-Through (Optional): If desired, connect your headphones and microphone to the 3.5mm jacks located on the keyboard. These jacks pass through to your computer via the keyboard's USB connection.
  4. Install Software (Optional): Insert the provided Software CD into your computer's optical drive. Follow the on-screen instructions to install any optional drivers or utility software for advanced features like macro programming.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 LED Backlight Control

The keyboard features blue LED backlighting with four adjustable brightness levels.

  • Press the Fn + F11 keys simultaneously to cycle through the brightness levels (Off, Low, Medium, High).

4.2 Multimedia Keys

Access multimedia functions by holding the Fn key and pressing the corresponding function key:

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.

  • For cleaning between keycaps, use compressed air to remove dust and debris.

5.2 Replacing Keycaps

The included keycap puller can be used to replace standard keycaps with the orange gaming keycaps provided.

  1. Gently attach the keycap puller to the keycap you wish to remove.
  2. Pull upwards firmly but carefully until the keycap detaches from the switch stem.
  3. Align the new keycap with the switch stem and press down until it clicks into place.

6. Troubleshooting
