4. Setup

4.1 Extending and Retracting Legs

The 190X features Quick Power Lock (QPL) levers for rapid leg extension and adjustment. To extend a leg section, simply flip open the QPL lever. To retract, close the lever securely. The QPL levers are designed for a comfortable, single-handed grip, allowing quick setup and breakdown.

4.2 Adjusting Leg Angles

Intuitive, ergonomic leg angle selectors allow each leg to be independently set to any of the pre-set angles (25°, 46°, 66°, 88°). This provides greater positioning freedom, especially on uneven terrain.

4.3 Ground Level Adaptor

For ultra-low positions, the tripod includes a ground level adaptor. Once placed on the top casting and combined with the 4 leg angles, it enables the tripod to reach minimum heights of 3.54 inches (9 cm).

4.4 Attaching Camera/Head

The top casting of the tripod features a 3/8 attachment type for mounting a camera head or directly attaching a camera. Ensure your camera or head has a compatible mounting screw.

4.5 Easy Link Connector

6.3 Using the Easy Link

Unscrew the protective cap from the Easy Link connector on the tripod's top casting. Attach your desired accessory arm or bracket, then secure it by tightening the screw. This allows for flexible positioning of lights, monitors, or other gear.
